61 Print Studio

61 Print Studio is a new centre for printmaking and art in rural Hampshire. We have a large studio/teaching space equipped with an A1 size Ironbridge press and a range of specialist equipment to enable artist to work with both relief and intaglio print processes. We run printmaking courses and workshops as well as offering Open Access sessions to those more experienced printmakers wanting to use the facility. In addition to our adult sessions, we run a youth programme with classes in printmaking, illustration, and art. We also offer occasional family sessions where parents and kids can experience the joys of printmaking processes together.

​61 Print Studio is run by Fiona Rimmer, an artist, illustrator and teacher who specialises in copper sulphate etching. As well as being a fully qualified art teacher, she has an MA in Illustration (Distinction, Falmouth). Fiona has spent the last 20 years teaching art, both in secondary school and independently. She has taught workshops around the UK including a number at Omega Printmakers, Portsmouth. She exhibited her own prints in both national and international shows such as Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, The Gerald Moore Gallery, and at the Centre for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT.
