After School Art Club is for 9, 10 & 11 year olds (school years 5 and 6). It runs on Tuesday & Thursdays from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. These classes explore all sorts of different ways of making art. Students learn techniques, tips, and tricks to help them develop their skills. This is a fun class, above all I want them to enjoy the process of creating. The price is £12 per session to be paid at the start of the half term. The doors to 61 Print Studio will be open from 3.30 so year 6's can walk down, though I can't take responsibility for them until they arrive. Soft drinks and biscuits are provided as well as a lovely new sketchbook.
Spaces are limited so if you are interested drop me a line via the link and I will send you more information.
Monday 5.30 - 6.30
Youth Print Club is for secondary school age students. We cover a wide range of print techniques and study the work of contemporary printmakers. Some sessions are tutor led and some allow participants to explore their own areas of interest with guidance from the tutor when needed. It's a great introduction into the varied world of printmaking.
The classes are £15 per session paid per half term.
Duke of Edinburgh Classes
We run an additional D of E class on a Wednesday which is suitable for the skills section of any award stage. This runs from 6.45 - 8pm.
If you would like to book a course as part of a DofE group at another time you are welcome to discuss this with us.
Please contact us for information.
Wednesday 5.30 - 6.30
Illustration Club is for secondary school students. This course explores all sorts of approaches to illustration from character development to zine making. Students develop an understanding of illustration contexts such as picture books, editorial, and product design and work on projects which deep dive into these areas. One project may focus on narrative illustration and develop skills in world building and storytelling while the next may concentrate on communication and visual identity. Activate your imagination, you're going to need it!
Classes are £12 per session paid at the start of each half term.
